(no subject)
wow i can't believe it's june, almost july already. it's been over a year since rush moved out. i seriously can't believe it's been that long. i still get super freaked out when i see someone on the street that looks like him. it sucks to think how much that whole thing messed with my head. i really get scared when i see a lookalike. like if it really was him he'd freak out on me or something. he used to get in my face like he would hit me but i knew he wouldn't and was just trying to intimidate me so i wouldn't let him get to me, but for some reason now i'm not too sure.
i was re-reading some past journals. i miss reading what happened daily. so i guess i will try to do that again.
went to mendo last weekend for the first time. loved it. tons. judy and jesse are totally awesome and sweet. makenna is a riot. she's super smart and awesome like her parents. precocious. the area is just beautiful. redwoods and ocean. it seriously can't get any better than that. i didn't know such a place existed. the people are cool and easy to talk to. really helpful and kind. i'm kinda over san jose after being to northern california. sj is cool and all. i just feel like it's not the place i want to end up in and mendo is. i don't think i ever really saw myself staying in sj forever. there were hella fires though. dry lightning. was still able to have a good time even though there was a chance of evacuation.
glass beach was totally awesome. i guess it used to be a landfill. but they stopped in the 60's or 70's and now it's just covered in beach glass. so beautiful. and relaxing to just sit on the beach and sift through the glass. had a great time at sweetwater spa. rented a private room with hot tub and sauna. saw makenna's dance recital. was super cute and funny. it was pretty much chaos on the stage.
monday had the day off so i went shopping. it was ok. bought a new green dress and some tanktops.
tuesday had a fieldtrip at work. it was awesome. we got to plant our own plants for free. was not expecting that. tina's mom said that i did really well and that she felt really comfortable with me leading the group. i have been hearing so many good things about my teaching lately. it's so awesome. i'm so glad that i found my calling. i have a great time teaching and i'm actually good at it.
wednesday due to all the fires in ca. we're not allowed to go outside at all. oi. plus i started feeling sick. my throat was hella hurting. but i pulled through. rocked out with the kids and the subways.
thursday. stayed home sick. fought with valley medical. i hate them so much. especially the man that talks to you when you're on hold. hate him hate him hate him. the end.
friday. stayed home again. started feeling better around 5pm. went through boxes. fun. made dinner. didn't go to cinnebar with sam.
