finally there is more paint applied to canvas. I'm at that crazy high pressure point where I am just deciding to not sleep tonight / now this morning / to get at least a little more painting done and my show invites for tonight at Souk. Painting No. 2 has begun.

breakthroughs are happening.
no pun intended.

happily I am on my way back outside to resume work on painting 1... progress has been made tonight... 
I have made a breakthrough in certain ways with it... am hitting some difficulties still, but working through them... 
it is demanding its time.

oh my gosh the orals were CRAZY!!! I hadn't slept hardly for a week, thought I had to have the entire paper to paul before the orals, or I would be dead (not true), finished the paintings just barely enough for the presentation RIGHT BEFORE IT, hung the work right at the start with paul's and arvie's help, and was so delirious that it was hard to ( Read more... )
