In Venus of Sub-Urbino (after Titian's Venus of Urbino, 1538) Michael Kadera juxtaposes naïve feminine innocence with female sexual objectification. His other works address the transmutation of the American dream and the effects of escapist consumer culture via contempoary iconography. Michael Kadera ’04 was part of a group show called Sin Tax, where he exhibited several paintings from mid November 2004 to early January 2005. The show featured works by roughly 15 artists, and was presented at Gallery 500 and Belinki & Duprey Gallery.

Michael Kadera ’04 began a masters program in September 2004 at the Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education where he is pursuing an MA in Counseling Psychology. Michael plans to start a private practice after his internship.
