Hahaha I think that HP is the one fandom that is full of goodfic. Of course, badfic exists, but for the most part, whatever you ship, you can find really, really good fic for it, even if your preferred pairing is unpopular.

Out of curiosity, what are your HP ships?

I like Draco/Harry, too, but the one pairing I like to read the most is Draco/Ginny. It is such a cracktastic pairing, but I love it to pieces. :)

Ahhh, it's so hard to explain! I've had a lot of people ask me what it is I like about it, but I'm not really eloquent enough to properly explain why I find it so appealing. :x Well, I think that Draco and Ginny have a lot of things in common: they're both into Quidditch, they're both characters with commanding sorts of presences in their own ways (Draco because of his... er, harsh and sharp personality, Ginny with her fiery temper and fierceness that even at age 11, she is willing to stand up for others), they're both characters touched by darkness (Draco with his family being affiliated with Voldemort and Ginny being Tom Riddle's "Heir of Slytherin"), and they both have a bit of a "mean" sense of humor (Draco's obviously, Ginny's in her snark and sarcasm), and they're both pureblood. In effect, they will fling sarcastic comments at each other, they will clash, they will question each other... and this is kind of precisely what I like to see in my pairings: two strong characters who, despite their differences and ideal clashes, ( ... )
