last week wrapped up quite nicely! sorry again about being all BAWW and shit, and thank you for the kind words. ♥ i do appreciate them a helluva lot, even if i fail and don't respond to them. i spent christmas eve working, and then chilling with tomatoshoes. i then spent christmas and boxing day with counterattack and her gorgeous family. not having to spend christmas alone was really nice, so, thank you guys so so much. ♥
also, toriaezu, thank you so much for your card! i got it when i came back home yesterday, but was too tired to write. it was lovely; thank you. ♥
i got back home yesterday and instantly felt like crap, so i cleansed my room and feel much better. i finally stopped being a cheapass and picked up a copy of professor layton and the unwound future, and i've been playing it obsessively. i love it. the mystery is more... mysterious. and it's so epic. and all the pointing, and case-solving, and timefuck being like my #1 fandom kink! AND LUKE'S VOICE HRRRGHHHHH. SO PRETTY. SO VERY PRETTY. (also, i realize that this sounds very silly, but: HOOOGOD THE WAY THAT LUKE STANDS. idk why but that straight-backed, legs-together, cap+schoolboy combo is bizarrely HRGHHH-worthy. god help me that game is making me ship luke x layton. NOOOO, DON'T PULL ME INTO THE CESSPOOL OF L-SHIPPERS!!)
i'm finally very, very excited for that layton vs. phoenix wright game now. layton is epic, and PW is perpetually epic (if it's following nick, as opposed to miles and that... i don't even remember wtf was happening in that last case anymore, save that i was talking to an evil tree), so it will be AWESOME.
