More memeishness stolen from SBG

What are you reading right now?
The Sempster's Tale by Margaret Frazer, English from Caedmon to Chaucer, some smut that a friend gave me for my birthday, and Rossetti (picture book about Dante Gabriel Rossetti).

Do you have any idea what you’ll read when you’re done with that?
No. Probably several things all at once, as usual. Likely one of the library books that I need to return soon.

What magazines do you have in your bathroom right now?
None. But I do have a copy of Good Omens, a diary, and a drawing tablet.

What’s the worst thing you were ever forced to read?
Badly written math text books. They make me cranky.

What’s the one book you always recommend to just about everyone?
Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.

Admit it, the librarians at your library know you on a first name basis, don’t they?
Since I worked at the Kent State library until about a week ago, yes, they do.

Is there a book you absolutely love, but for some reason, people never think it sounds interesting, or maybe they read it and don’t like it at all?
Several, but the one that springs to mind is A Natural History of The Senses by Diane Ackerman. It actually turns me on (don't tell anyone)

Do you read books while you eat? While you bathe? While you watch movies or TV? While you listen to music? While you’re on the computer? While you’re having sex? While you’re driving?
Yes, Yes, occasionally, definitely, only if I HAVE to be on the computer, oh, hell no, and again, hell no (like SBG said, audio books don't count).

When you were little, did other children tease you about your reading habits?
No. Mostly they were intimidated, or didn't know about my reading habits.

What’s the last thing you stayed up half the night reading because it was so good you couldn’t put it down? Um. I do that all the time. Hm. Must have been Carpe Jugulum by Terry Pratchett, a couple of days ago.
