Huh.

It sounds like things may not be what they seemed.

Want to join me at the gym some day for (indoor) rock climbing?

Alas, is anything ever as it seems?

I'm not sure I'm in good enough physical condition at this point to do rock climbing, especially my knees, but maybe after I've been working out some...

No excuses. Give it a try, or don't, but don't make up excuses why you can't try.

You can walk, you can climb. You might decide it's not for you, or isn't the most comfortable thing, but it's actually not very high-impact, especially on the knees. (I have fun with my knees, too)

Our regular time is Wednesdays from ~1900-2230, give or take.

I have one free guest pass every two months, plus first Friday of the month is guest night. If I'm available, I'd be happy to bring you in anytime. Worth trying, even if you decide you don't want to keep doing it.

To belay, not just climb, you need certification, but I can get you signed up for the (one hour) class for free, too.

They make sure that it's easy to bring new people in. -) And is lots of fun.

I climb at Planet Granite in Sunnyvale, with a couple friends. Also outside, occasionally. Would love to have you join us to give it a try.
