A few non-dreary things I might try to make contact with today:

• Tastiness (tea, cider, the making of bread, Real Dinner, and lemon bars)
• Latin
• Medieval rainbows
• Paleography
• Writing (poetry, fiction)

I have been in something of a dry spell with respect to any autobiographical writing lately. Once upon a time I recorded everything in my life obsessively, once upon a time when I feared Time, and Death even more so as an inevitable extension.
