i've been remiss in posting lately -- mostly because i'm so busy i can't even think. this post, however, couldn't wait any longer.

last friday night i was lucky enough to attend an acquaintance's 40th birthday party.  as far as i am concerned this was no ordinary birthday party because it was thrown for one individual by a town.
