Filming, photography and PARTY

Had fun tonight doing camerawork for the "Detective Scene." I'd better be careful because I might actually like doing that too much. I've always enjoyed photography in general...but never really delved into the realm of film-making. Damn, I could barely hold that damn thing still. The XL2 is not as easy to hold steady as one would think. It was good fun though. I'll have to try that more often.

I will have to post some of the stills I took between takes...just have to learn how to upload them onto LJ. Ah but that's a different story. Still getting used to having a digi camera. I've been using film for so long that it doesn't seem natural to be able to see the pics as soon as I shoot them. I love it but still haven't put any of them onto my computer yet. I guess it's like I'm waiting to develop them or something. Speaking of developing pictures...I still have a few rolls sitting in my camera bag that need to be processed. Some stuff from Vegas and who knows what else. Need to get that done sometime. Film is so damn expensive...but I still love my good old 35mm SLR. I obviously can't replace it with this little point and shoot PowerShot, but digital sure is more convenient. I will however, always have a soft spot in my heart for good old black and white film prints.

Ah, need to sleep. My alarm will be going off way too soon.

Oh yeah...Before I forget:

PARTY AT MY HOUSE FRIDAY NIGHT!!!

It is Lindsey's Birthday but even if you don't know her, you should all show up. It's gonna be fun.

So yeah. Call me or message if you want to come.
