Yea Ive vowed to myself that im gonna try and do this more often...like a few times a weeks...and even if its like a summary, ill write

wow... reading the entirety of the details of your dreams gives me chills and tingles... MAJORLY!
Im SO GLAD the speeches ppl gave in choir inspired you!!!! :-D i actually noticed that and mentioned in my journal the look on ur face... it was the look on ur face that made my ENTIRE day after that class!
Im surprised, but happy, that my reaction made your day. I really think those speeches helped choir. It's funny though. I was reading the what the yearbook said about CC last year, and it went something like "Concert Choir is for serious singers who want to be the best." The day you guys made the speeches was the only day that we seemed completely serious and dedicated. I probably have no right saying any of this, but it seems like CC is more...unruly this year. Like we need discipline. I dont know why, but we dont behave with Mrs. Anderson the same way we did with Mrs. Spinelli and Mr. Mac. Or maybe its me, and CC was like this last year, and I just wouldnt know.
lol, CC was NOT like this last year! There are a couple girls... who i look over at in the soprano section... who either A. Barely ever sing or B. DONT SING AT ALL... OMG i looked over at them today... and one of them, didn't open her mouth to sing ONCE... not ONCE!!! I was appauled... so i told mrs anderson...hehe :-D Choir has been sounding a lot better and a lot better behaved than earlier in the year, but definitely still needs some working on... im thinking ever few weeks we should have a listening session of our old stuff, then a little speech about how we can do it! I think that'd do the trick. At least somewhat. We need some inspirement up in here! lol...
I think I know who your talking about. The ones who always shreik when Matt Ammann goes up or sings. Apparently, the rest of the Sopranos are fed up. I just wonder why there in choir if theyre not gonna sing. I mean theyre prolly giving up a study, so why not just leave and take the study. (I have to admit though, it would suck if they left because they do have strong voices when they actually sing). The said thing is these girls acted like this for Mrs. Spinelli and Mr. Mac too (how anyone can not show Mr. Mac respect is beyond me
( ... )
I realize this is old and all, but after the mass we sang at on Wednesday I have to comment.
In all honesty, we sounded horrible.
I really try to sing out, as obviously the people behind me rarely do. But it's definitely not. working.
*sigh*
I agree with both of you. Last year, I wanted to be in CC so bad. To be that good, and to be able to inspire the VE kids and amke them want to do better--that whole thing. I get there, and once inside, you do have to wonder--when did it get like this?
I hate to say it, but Sarah's right. People don't seem to respect Mrs. Anderson as much as they did Spinelli or Mr. Mac.
I spend class time having to listen to a good number of the sopranos yammering or spending their time asking if it's time to go yet.
I'm getting pretty damn sick of it, and it's gunna take a lot of energy for me to stop myself from turning around and ripping someone's head off.
Oh yay you got it...Ill add you...as to the comment, well I think its great to finally have a sopranos statement. I mean, Its just been my view as an alto so far, and I had no real experience in that section. Now that youve put your information in, I can sadly say that my assumptions were correct. What do you think we should do about it, hun?
