Michele and I were given the opportunity to go on a date by our friend Tai. As it happens our plans for dinner and a movie were foiled by my coming down with the H1N1 virus. That’s right I got Swine Flu.

Texting while driving increases crash risk 23-fold

Drivers of heavy trucks who were texting while driving were at a 23 times greater risk of a crash or near-crash than those who were not, the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute reported last night.

Dutch Bros.

My wife and I over the past few months have found ourselves heading into Oregon 3 times to visit my family. After going back and forth all day as an intermediary between my wife and Warren Jewelers and being left to make the final decision on what would be done. I’ve decided to follow through with an offer made by one of the employees to replace the diamond. Heather has graciously offered to pay for the replacement of the diamond. I find myself sitting here at work today seething. Michele and I attempted to watch Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead last week. We attempted to watch it and ended up shutting it off about 15 minutes into the movie.

It’s horrible. Not just bad, but bad and vile.

Whatever happens… don’t watch it.

This past weekend was BellCon 2008. It was fun. I arrived later than I hoped, about 2 or 3 hours into the 7 hour con. As soon as I found him I joined Jonathan at his post.
