This week officially sucks!!!
i got a speeding ticket today.
i was going 73 on I-405. i'm pissed cuz other ppl were going faster than me. i was talking about it at work with Michelle and i guess one of the participants heard me. he suggested that i get it appealed by asking if the police officer calibrated the laser speed gun. they're supposed to calibrate it every day but i guess a lot of them don't and if they don't the ticket gets thrown out. he said that he's had like 10 speeding tickets since he was 16 and he got cleared of all of them.
i kinda wanna do that so i won't have to pay the ticket and so my insurance doesn't go up, but at the same time i know that i prolly shouldn't have been going so fast and the police office wrote me up for 70 instead of 73 so that i would only have to pay $91 instead of $123, but still.
just yesterday i remember thinking, "ive never gotten a ticket, i wonder if i can go my entire life without getting one," well i got my answer and the answer is a slap in the face NO.
i think i'll prolly pay for it. i'd feel kinda sleezy if i didn't pay for it, but 90 bucks is a lot. T-T my soul is dying. when will this cursed week end???
