Last week my friend Angela and I put on kimono and went out to see the cherry blossoms.  It was a lovely day.  The cherry blossoms were in full bloom.  We had rain the day before so there was also a light carpet of pink petals on the ground too.  It was best day for cherry blossom viewing.

Instead of uploading pictures here and on cosplay.com I'm just going to link to my gallery there.  On March 1st I did a photoshoot with a semi-professional photographer.  It was great.  I got some good pictures of some of my costumes that I hadn't gotten around to getting some reasonable shoots of.

I've managed to corrupt one of my friends into cosplay.  Well, she was interested, but didn't know anyone to kind of show her the ropes.  Hee hee.  We've done a couple of weekends and have plans already for a couple of weekends down the road.  So much fun.

Ah, yeah.  It’s been a while since I posted anything.  Sorry about that.  I have been very busy.

I’m applying to teacher’s college in Canada and the deadline for the application was Dec 1.  There was lots to do; essays, references, arranging transcripts, and mini resumes.  But that’s all done now.  It’s now in the hands of the admissions gods * ( Read more... )

Ah yeah.  What I day.  I taught 5 kids classes.  We're only supposed to have a max of 4 in a day.  The last two classes I only had 10 minutes in between them.  Yeah, we're supposed to have 15mins.  And of course because we're doing Halloween lessons, really crazy.  Parents taking pictures, kids not wanting to wear costumes, and not having supplies.
