Shift change
My coworker who works the opposite shift of mine (her days on are my days off) is looking for a new place outside of Madison, and asked me if I would consider working weekdays while she takes weekends, to cut down her commute.
I'm really torn. On the one hand, I really like working the four hour shifts, and the week is usually less crazy than the weekend. And it would mean I got every weekend free. Plus, it is easier for my supervisor to fill the four hour shifts if I wanted to ask for time off.
On the other hand, I really like having days off in between shifts to recharge, and the weekend shift differential is more than the evening one. And I'm not sure how well working every night of the week would fit into my school schedule.
Of course, this is all contingent on her finding a new apartment, so I have some time to think about it.
