They Who We Do Not Speak Of!

We had another meeting for Capitol Hill High Ep.3. We're always working, always producing...stools! Anyway, there are definitely going to be at least a couple new faces in the next ep. And we have a blush-inducing photo shoot soon for press photos. We also have a sick-funny poster idea. And musical numbers!

I watched The Village, finally, coz I'd read this expose on M. Night Salamander and his burning bridges w/ Disney. I did sorta expect the ending, coz he mentioned being a teacher of history, which did seem like a hint. Plus, I'm sure I read all the reviews at the time it came out, and so it wasn't super shocking, but interesting the way it ended. I did get the heebie jeebies the first time the guy from Hedwig and the Angry Itch (Michael Pitt, he wasn't hardly in it, really) looked down from the watch tower and saw the Creature We Do Not Speak Of rush by. And I love the spooky forest with the thing standing behind her in full daylight. Oh, but being color blind, I missed the fact that when the three teens go out into the woods, they're wearing a different colored hood, the 'safe color', until they...um, spoke of it. I had the same problem with Schindler's List...everyone saw a girl in a red hood throughout the movie, and I was like, huh? 'Yeah, she was lying in a heap of bodies towards the end and I was crying, didn't you see her?'

I love when horror movies show the monster in daylight! (like The Shining, Witchboard, etc.) This flick gave me a break from bad super chick movies. I still haven't seen Signs, Invincible or Lady in the Water, but there's no rush, I don't want to O.D. on M. Night. Oh, and he had a cameo in Village and...he's a shitty actor. Stool!

horror movies, capitol hill high, shitty, chick
