They Who We Do Not Speak Of!

We had another meeting for Capitol Hill High Ep.3. We're always working, always producing...stools! Anyway, there are definitely going to be at least a couple new faces in the next ep. And we have a blush-inducing photo shoot soon for press photos. We also have a sick-funny poster idea. And musical numbers ( Read more... )

I kind of like The Village. M. Night is a total control freak. I watched the commentary on the Signs DVD. He's involved in every little aspect of production. Which is kind of cool but also unnerving for everyone around him, I'm sure. It might be why some of his stuff is mediocre, too.

And the thing is, he's a storyteller. These movies are what he'd be telling around a campfire, so it ends up being PG-13 and not total horror movies.

A friend said once you knew the secret of the town, it wasn't scary anymore, but I thought there was just enough doubt that there really were monsters. So, I was still surprised when they revealed the monster's identity.

And I thought it was pretty believable, the romance between Ivy and Johnny Cash. And Judy Greer got to do a serious role for once.

It's called Unbreakable. I like that one. Signs is stupid.

M Night has a cameo in all his movies! he wants to be the next hitchcock.

I have always been kind of smug about the fact that I've never seen one of his movies. I didn't realize he did Unbreakable. I am a consumer whore.

you haven't seen 'I see dead people'? wow.

I fall for each of his movies' twists. although, I was suspicious when Sigourney Weaver is all 'he left the house at quarter past 9'...and I'm like, oh, so the sundial is like a digital alarm clock is to us nowadays? But, I didn't think about it too much, I just went along w/ it.

omg, the chick who just got fired from the O.C. is actually Puke Girl from Sixth Sense! Not that I watch O.C. (I only watched the pilot and hated it) I just read that somewhere. Maybe US Magazine?

oh, is it red? hadn't really noticed... but the Crescent has that colorful drag queen eyeball painting, so I have a reference point.

Oh, there's that Bruce Willis movie...Color of Something... and he's colorblind and doesn't realize the whole room is actually full of blood, and that's kind of my everyday life! :-)
