I kind of like The Village. M. Night is a total control freak. I watched the commentary on the Signs DVD. He's involved in every little aspect of production. Which is kind of cool but also unnerving for everyone around him, I'm sure. It might be why some of his stuff is mediocre, too.

A friend said once you knew the secret of the town, it wasn't scary anymore, but I thought there was just enough doubt that there really were monsters. So, I was still surprised when they revealed the monster's identity.
And I thought it was pretty believable, the romance between Ivy and Johnny Cash. And Judy Greer got to do a serious role for once.

I fall for each of his movies' twists. although, I was suspicious when Sigourney Weaver is all 'he left the house at quarter past 9'...and I'm like, oh, so the sundial is like a digital alarm clock is to us nowadays? But, I didn't think about it too much, I just went along w/ it.
omg, the chick who just got fired from the O.C. is actually Puke Girl from Sixth Sense! Not that I watch O.C. (I only watched the pilot and hated it) I just read that somewhere. Maybe US Magazine?

Oh, there's that Bruce Willis movie...Color of Something... and he's colorblind and doesn't realize the whole room is actually full of blood, and that's kind of my everyday life! :-)
