Total Loss
So I found out yesterday that my car was a total loss. It will cost more to fix the car than it is worth. It was estimated at $3,362.38 worth of damage. Between yesterday and today, all I've been thinking is cars. I had to sign my car over to Progressive (my insurance company), and now I'm on the hunt for a new car. I am going to buy a used car though, most likely, unless I get an amazing deal on a new car, but that's almost non-existent. I've really had my eye on the Mazda3, but I'm not sure if I can swing it or not. It really all depends on how much I get approved for on a loan. I need to call my credit union tomorrow and get that set up, because my rental car is only covered until Monday, January 30th. So, I want to have a new car by this weekend. Tonight I went to Miller Ford (where my car currently is at) and took out all my personal belongings. They are supposed to tow it away to the salvage yard tomorrow. Tomorrow night after work, Caitlin will be coming down to Portsmouth to visit with me and go looking at cars. Anyway, wish me luck!
