I could have done several other more useful things today, but instead I opened one of my Christmas gifts early and spent my afternoon organizing the jewelry department of my craft supplies.
On Black Friday, my 20% off coupon and I went to Harbor Freight Tools for this eight drawer tool chest. It's awesome; I love it! I am considering another one for sewing supplies, but I digress.
I pretty much dumped out my two toolboxes full of jewelry supplies and started sorting. That's the only way I can clean something up: make a huge mess in the middle of the floor that cannot be ignored. If I make a small mess that can be pushed into a corner, it will be.
I put all the "good" stuff (i.e not plastic) in the eight-drawer chest. Filled it right up.
All the "not good stuff" (i.e. plastic) went into the ancient, three-level tackle box I've had since I went costume nuts as a tween. I'm still working on sorting all the junk in it into individual containers/compartments. I may move the glass seed beads over to the big chest if/when I have things all organized.
I have so many faceted acrylic beads I should make a dress, sew them all to it willy-nilly and call it Amano cosplay!
