More or less. Not sure if I'm completely resurfacing yet but figured I should at least note that I am still around. Plus note a couple mental bits.
At last update was at 300mg Wellbutrin. Insufficient, went back to 450mg. Stayed on brand. Tried 600mg to see what the effect was. Too much, put senses on edge. Became very sensitive to motion; sound and touch to a lesser extent. No obvious change in mental state or additional benefit in maintaining focus outside of that. Dropped back to 450mg.
Switched to Aplenzin as of July 6. Still buproprion like Wellbutrin but hydrobromide instead of hydrochloride. Bonus is the 450mg Wellbutrin dose is either 3x 150mg or 1x 300mg + 1x 150mg pills while the comparable Aplenzin form is a single 522mg pill. One less pill to take per day; yay!
No drop in mood. Possibly a slight positive shift but I'm not certain. Surfacing after hiding for a few (several?) months within a week or so of the switch may or may not be coincidental.
One interesting bit is the various ADD stimulant meds actually have a noticeable effect now, even at the lower dosages. May need to try slightly lower doses.
