Heather doesn't know what Twitter is, but she knows she doesn't like it. She read me the riot act on Monday because of "all that short shit" I now post (Loudtwitter posts), and it's annoying to read, so I have to post real shit.
She's got a point, since I've only posted 2 days out of 13 from the WDW trip....from 2 months ago. Wow, it's already been 2 months. Awesome.
I'm ridiculously happy with Dan. I was going to say "Dan & I", but I don't want to speak for him when I say I"m retarded with happiness. ;) Spending time together is really comfortable, I've never had a great time doing nothing in particular with someone. We're playing WoW together, which seems like a little thing, but he loves it, and it's really nice to be able to understand all the lingo that goes with it, plus it's hella fun.
Looking for a house - I'm optimistic that a house can be had in this area in his price range, especially since he wants to fix up the house himself (he's uber-handy). He wants to stay as close to work as possible, so we're looking in the Mountain View/Palo Alto area. If we do stay here, it would be so perfect - I could watch the babies & go to school at the same time. The only thing I'm worried about is time; I need to know where we're going to be landing, so I can apply to the right school. I can't afford to apply to all the possibilities to cover myself then figure it out later, so I'll have to wait and see. If I stay here, it'll be awesome since I'll be a resident & De Anza has the transfer agreements with the schools around here. Georgia State would be $9000 per semester - yikes.
School: I'm totally unmotivated this quarter, which is my last at De Anza. I earned my AA last quarter, and Stats is the last one I need for my transfer, so I'll have a bit of a break before I start a 4 year in the fall. I'm glad for the break; I"m a bit burned out from school, and I know that when I transfer, it'll be much more intense than it is now. I'm praying that I get back on Financial Aid so I don't have to work as much & I can concentrate on school.
The move to Dan's brother's house is up in the air - Dan is worried it'll be a strain on our relationship, & that there's not enough room for us there. I see it as a way of saving money for the house, and helping his brother out of a tight spot. It's up to Dan though - I'm easy either way.
So, right now is a bit of a waiting game. Waiting to act on a lot of stuff, which I think will start moving quickly as soon as Dan gets back from South Carolina (he's working on his dad's house). Oh - he got a Wii, so I should look for games I want to play! I miss him a lot - even when he's in the other room reading or playing on the computer, it's nice to feel him around. He gets back on Sunday!
