[ooc: This post should be treated as if it were made yesterday, since Luka is definitely too distracted today - and at the game in Stuttgart - to be making posts.]
Greetings from Stuttgart! For those who don't know, my wonderful wife sent me to Germany, Croatia-Australia match ticket in hand, for Father's Day. I think this town is being overrun by Croatians; it's great. It's almost unnecessary to speak German, though I speak and understand it passably, because there's always many Croatians around to translate if need be. The attitude is very optimistic in favor of the Vatreni, and flares are being passed out to anyone with a red and white checked jersey. (Yes, I have several flares. Yes, Sam, I'll be careful.) I doubt many Croatians will be sleeping tonight...
Since it's less than a two-hour flight from Zagreb, and since I haven't seen my father since the wedding, I decided to get him a plane ticket to join me here. Of course he won't be at the game, but he'll be able to celebrate our sure victory with me and everyone else. He brought an infant sized
Croatian jersey for Gracija, so when she's here be looking for her to be sporting the Vatreni pride.
I'll be back in a few days. Until then, make sure you watch the match tomorrow at 3 pm and root for Croatia.
