I love the show Supernatural.  One of the many reasons I enjoy it so much is actor Jensen Ackles, who plays older brother Dean Winchester.  It's like he was born to play that role.  Here he is having some fun on the set:

Yesterday, I was finally catching up on my podcasts, and I got to listen to the first audio entry in Mur Lafferty’s The News from Poughkeepsie series. She put together a promo for a (sadly!) non-existent podcast. I would subscribe to a horror for the younger set podcast in a second, and share it with my daughter. Metal makes everything better.

I had this driven home a while back when I discovered Beatallica, the Beatles/Metallica mashup band. I’m not actually that big a fan of the Beatles, truth be told, but they’re songs actually become awesome when they’re Metal tunes, particularly when combined with some old-school Metallica lyrics to boot.
