I had a dream last night that, rather than writing my essay on the poetry of Andrew Marvell, I pretended to misunderstand the assignment and wrote an essay about the portrayal of masculinity in Marvel comic books. Late yesterday evening, my parents and I got home from a week-long visit to the Pacific coast. Waiting for me was ( the best present ever. )

So I've been home for a week or so now, and haven't been doing all that much, to be honest. Since I'm going on a three week vacation (yes, a vacation from vacation - I could not be more spoiled) in less than a week, I figure, what's the point in starting any of the projects I told myself I would do this summer? So we got home on Wednesday, after a long and somewhat eventful three day drive.
