From the sublime to the ridiculous
Or, from international ideals to silly morning moping...
I can't go to the barn today because I think I may be on the fast track to bronchitis. But the equine dentist is coming this morning and I really wanted to help hold the horses and to see him work, especially on Peanut and Felix! Wah. The hacking and wheezing and intermittent voice loss told me it was not a good morning to muck out dusty stalls unless I want to be sick all weekend, so like a good Adult I opted out. Feh to responsibility and good sense. Feh,I say.
In good news, baseball is fun to watch again. At least for a little while. The Mets haven't had a shutout sweep of a series since 1969. And oddly enough, that was against the Philles, too.
