So, I haven't been posting much lately aside from links.

In recent weeks I have:

• Signed up with a real estate agent.
• Went out to the The Herikimer with eriker and monstersocks and saw mollysaurus walking her dog.
• Went to a sunrise wedding in North Carolina where a raw food wedding cake was served
• Watched the season finales of several shows that fairly completely failed to wrap up ( Read more... )

monstersocks and I went out to see Grindhouse tonight. I liked it more than she did, although the Tarentino bits did drag somewhat. A small director cameo can be fun, big parts have less potential. Definitely worth seeing though.

The original plan was to see Hot Fuzz but that fell through. We may try and see it tomorrow instead.

As I said earlier, CONvergence was good but odd. It felt strange not having Vice City around. In previous years it was generally the default location for meeting or hanging out and was always the place where I could find people I knew (or play a little Pepsi Man). Given how much money and effort a party like that must require I can understand thedrunkengent and ethel ( Read more... )

Back home again after CONvergence and a quick business trip to Utah. CONvergence was fun but a little odd. Pictures should be up soon because I didn't take many. The trip was useful and short, but I would have preferred to rest on Sunday night instead of fly to Denver and then Utah.

Today I slept in (for the first and only day of this vacation), got lunch (as I had missed the free breakfast), went out to a State Park and saw some really big trees, some forest critters and a little waterfall. I also had a very good dinner. Tomorrow I return home (assuming nwa can do it).

Today I went to Todd and Marta's wedding. It was a very nice ceremony and it was great to see Todd so happy. I got to catch up with Todd and my old friends Matt and Jake "Not the crack smoker" Roberts. Today I did a number of touristy things. Visited Coit Tower and The Golden Gate Bridge. Also wandered around a bit. Played with Scrapbook a bit and may have some pictures up tonight.
