'Inflation' isn't always bad news ...

The view outside our front windows has changed again - since the 'pfffft' (previous entry), the BC Place Stadium Dome has been reinflated following its 'fart' two weeks ago. Not great architecture, but it's an important site for city conventions, large concerts and the 'BC Lions', of course. A combination of this winter's heavy winds, snow and an ( Read more... )

I've had a similar problem with weather-related writing as well. Such entries seem significant at the time, but very quickly fade.

As I've previously mentioned, I was never particularly endeared to BC Place, so it's nice to hear that its marshmallow contours are on the way out of Vancouver's skyline.

We're building MORE of them !! And, when the Dome is torn down, after the Olympics (2010), even more!! But 15 minutes away. over Lion's Gate, there's the forests and mountains of North Van - where we lived with the kids for about 18 years, and where Geoff & Donna live now.

Do you like the view ? Going to be disappointed when it leaves?

We had snow today for the first time this season.
