'Inflation' isn't always bad news ...

The view outside our front windows has changed again - since the 'pfffft' (previous entry), the BC Place Stadium Dome has been reinflated following its 'fart' two weeks ago. Not great architecture, but it's an important site for city conventions, large concerts and the 'BC Lions', of course. A combination of this winter's heavy winds, snow and an over-reaction when the roof sagged - someone tripled the internal pressure - turned the world's largest air-supported dome into a soggy bowl.

It took three hours or so to pump it back up once the fabric was repaired and I watched as it rose - rather like a loaf of bread rising in an oven. The whole stadium slated to be torn down following the 2010 Winter Olympics so another view-change is in our future.

Enough of these rambling weather entries - I'm working on a more interesting entry (one hopes) for next week.
