The senior show was a hit--I was really impressed with the turnout. So many friends and aquaintances were able to make it and I've sold three pieces already.
NOW I'm really done with school. This summer has to be great. I'm going to try to make a lot of money so I can travel and party before I sell my soul to Cooper.
One thing I'm really stoked about, though, is that I might work in Barry Johnston's studio for a portion of the summer. This dude is straight out of the Renaissance; I'm not even kidding. He's a genius who is a prolific sculptor, pianist and composer, former athlete, and inventor working on this heat engine that could win him the nobel prize. He lives in a 250 year old warehouse that he has turned into a studio which houses beautiful, large-scale, cast bronze sculptures. I just happened to meet him through the church where my dad works. I could learn so much from him, seriously.
