Between the man-made walls and the synthetic floors, it had taken time for Himura to be able to efficiently preform his kata in the training halls. When it came to centering ki, technology would never be able to compare to a small clearing, deep in the woods and surrounded by mother nature herself. He was sure that his master should have a few choice words for the dead land that surrounded them, just as he was sure most of those words were not fit to be uttered in polite company.
With the number of early risers Valora was enlisting lately, it was a miracle that the strategist had the place to himself. The silence and solidarity allowed him to allow his mind to clear, embracing the void and letting instinct direct his movements. Each form had been beat into him from an early age that it was easy enough to let himself drift off and enjoy the workout.
