iTunes has stopped working. Every time I start it up, it reads the library file and freezes. I have tried repairing the permissions. I have cleared and reinstalled it. Norton AntiVirus is currently taking its sweet time scanning Spawning Pool but I have a feeling it won't do much good. I will try to deal with it when I get back on the 26th.

Today was chock full of activities. I was a bit early to the munch this morning. (That's why I carry a book with me.) I headed in a few minutes early and stopped at the stuffed animal machine in the front. I got a twofer out of it (I totally rock at those things.). I got to do a coffee run for a friend today. I love doing things like that. It reminded me of when I used to sub at my old Jr. High school. Ah, today actually started late last night. I finally figured out how to get Babcom to talk to the iMac via a crossover cable. Babcom was having some trouble starting up, so I left it for the morning. When I awoke the next morning, I raced downstairs and started working on the transfer. I picked up a 56k USB modem today at the Microcenter for about 40$. The internal ones were a bit cheaper, but I don't want to use the last PCI slot. The drivers for it were already installed so it was just a matter of plugging it in and going through the various menus to make that the default option where I live. The owner of the unsecured network finally blocked me, sort of. I can still connect to the network, but I can't get on the internet. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted. The gift exchange on Xmas eve rocked. My gifts went over great (Firefly complete series and "A Christmas Story" Ornament) and went home with the same person. So Saturday was cool. I didn't get to install a fresh copy of Tiger (the disks were for an iBook, grr). I did get to transfer all the files I wanted to save off of the iMac (YAY!!!). I acually had to use FTP to transfer the files; it was wicked. Like I told J, going to Tiger from 8.6 is like going from a POS automatic to a Ferrari manual. ( Read more... )
