I. Learn the art of patience.
Progress: 15 Tips for Becoming as Patient as Job
How to Become More Patient With Friends, Enemies and Circumstances
II. Improve my French: Learn at least one new thing each day.
Progress: Woo French class! Learning so many new tenses.
Got a French audio CD to practice during the summer.
Received Subjective Tense booklet from Mme. Henderson- learn during summer.
III. Exercise: YMCA 3x a week. Cardio on other days, c25k program.
Progress: Received Morgan's old bike, and started hobby of daily 45-minute bike rides.
IV. Get a job.
Progress: Submitted a resumé and app to Canadian Tire, have apps to fill out and submit to CostCo and Blockbuster. Will also have to look at UBC WorkStudy job posting come August. June 23-24: Applied to 20+ places online. June 28: INTERVIEW! :DDD @ Femme de Carrière, Metrotown. *fingers crossed*! Have an interview for The Fair @ PNE July 15. Rest of July: The month of interviews I'm a Qoola Team Member, albeit with not enough shifts >.<
V. Keep up with current events: Read news everyday, local-international.
Progress: Foreign Policy and Vancouver Sun-in-school-library thank you for keeping me updated. ♥
VI. Learn to drive.
VII. Learn at least 1 baking recipe and 1 cooking recipe.
Progress: Learned how to make chocolate chip cookies! \o/
