Hee! I figure that the goop was the last straw, the last indignity after a whole series of misadventures and mishaps. Sometimes all you can do is go to bed and start over the next day. Preferably with some snuggling. *grin* Glad that you liked this one and thanks for the prompt and the comment!

The last few feet from the elevator to his door seem like the longest mile in the world, and Jeff forces himself to meet his own eyes in the mirrored wall, ignores the puffyness and the dark bags there, summoning up the energy to walk the few steps that will get him safely home. He fumbles with the key, turning it over and over, and just stands and stares when the door opens and Jensen's standing there in bare feet with a concerned smile on his face ( ... )
