I read a beautiful sentence this week in a book. It was talking about memories and how time is more destructive to memories than a house fire because until a fire that destroys the memories in an instant, time allows part of the memory to remain and other parts to slowly fade into darkness

I love watching "The Dog Whisperer". One of the things that resonates with me the strongest is the idea that dogs live in the moment. Cesar Milan always tells dog owners that their pets do not remember yesterday, two hours ago or ten minutes ago. They are not worried about tomorrow

I've often wondered what I would tell myself if I were able to go back in time. On the one hand, I would like to think that I would listen to myself and realize the value of making better choices. There is an elderly couple of my neighborhood that has a Vespa scooter. The man drives the scooter and his wife hugs him tightly from behind. They are both wearing helmets, and don't seem to realize how unique they are. If you were to see them zippping along, you would see a smile on both of their faces.
