►When I was little, I’d wear a yukata when I’d go to festivals but nowadays with the exception of work, I don’t really get any chances to wear them…But, I went to a summer festival last year! During one my college semesters, we kept going back and forth to the city of Rikuzentakata in Touhoku in order to research about temporary housing for those in the disaster struck area. During that time, an acquaintance I had from the area told me to “definitely go” to the “Kesenchou Fight Tanabata Festival”, which I went to see.
At first glance, there were these festival floats with huge logs tied to them. The two would smash ferociously against one another and so comes in the “fight” portion. Then, they tugged at the flattened logs, almost as if it was a game of tug of war. Whichever opponent could pull the log over towards their territory was the winner. At first I was watching the event from up close but the force of the event was too amazing and it really surprised me. The festival carried across the feelings of the people of Rikuzentakata and it deeply moved me. I was only a needed volunteer but, I really do treasure the sightseeing that the locals gave me through the Touhoku area. I really want everyone to go and watch it!
►During festivals, my eyes will always end up going towards the girls catching goldfish while wearing their yukata. Why is it that my heart races not when I see them standing, but when I see them leaning forward? And so, these girls are trying their very best to catch a goldfish but the fish falls through the paper right away making this sad expression appear on their faces. That would get them depressed wouldn’t it? When I see that, my heart skips a beat and I end up wishing I could hug them♥ Even with the smallest gestures like when a girl fans herself with her uchiwa. That’s also sexy~ One way or another, you feel like they’re defenseless, right? That part is great! Once summer comes, girls start dressing more lightly and when they do, the body parts I end up looking at accidentally are their arms. Rather than the slender type of arms, I prefer the squishy looking ones. I end up wanting to poke them. I’m against dieting!

►There’s usually no chances for me to wear a yukata. The last time I wore one was probably around kindergarten. I think it was when I went over to play at my grandmother’s house. Before we went out to play with fireworks, my grandma dressed both my sister and I in yukata. I think that the ones we wore belonged to one of my mom’s sibling’s kids…I wonder if I treasured it back then? Even now, I still remember the fireworks we played with back then. I loved the feeling of those fireworks you can hold in your hand but I also loved the thrill I got from launching fireworks into the sky. Of course, sometimes she would also take us to the summer festivals. You definitely have to get yakisoba! Buying at a stand is the best!! If I found a shooting game stall then I would definitely play♪ I was somewhat good at it. Although if I got a good shot; I’d always get a stuffed animal or some other small prize. Why is it that I’m bad with going now that I’m older?....It’s frustrating~ (laughs)
►During summer, after we get to dress lightly, both heart and body start to feel more open. I’ve grown to think that girls look lovely when they wear no-sleeve clothing and shorts. Arms and thighs are always the parts that get hidden but, thinking that “I can see them!” gets my heart racing♥ although I worry a bit that the clothes might be too thin. I like healthy people after all. Treasure your skin!
When I see someone’s skin that looks smooth at first glance, without thinking, I end up wanting to touch it. If I had a girlfriend with soft skin and got to snuggle with her while watching fireworks, then it’d be the best!! Because I’m not good with dealing with a crowd of people, I’ll search for a spot that no one knows of. For example, somewhere slightly far away from the fireworks location; like the top of a building, the riverbed or the top of a shop. Even though we’d still be able to hear the voices of excitement coming from the large groups of people that are far away, where we’re at at that moment is a quiet spot…kind of place. I can’t resist that “just the 2 of us” aura!
