The Devil Comes on Horseback
I just watched this documentary on National Geographic about a military observer who went to Darfur and collected evidence on the genocide there, called "The Devil Comes on Horseback." It was really eye-opening, complete with some of the most graphic pictures I've ever seen, and recordings of entirely flippant confessions to the government being involved in the terrors happening there. And yet the UN can't do anything because they lack the funding, reports are being oppressed by the Sudan government, and the US is caught up in it's fairy-tale "War on Terror."
THIS is where the real terror is happening. Not in Iraq, but in a little African country where Blacks are being slaughtered by the Arab government. More than 200,000 people have been killed, and 2.5 million displaced. And what does America do? Make up tall tales of weapons of mass destruction and leave these people to suffer.
I'm ashamed of my country.
