I just watched this documentary on National Geographic about a military observer who went to Darfur and collected evidence on the genocide there, called "The Devil Comes on Horseback." It was really eye-opening, complete with some of the most graphic pictures I've ever seen, and recordings of entirely flippant confessions to the government being

The question should be, what does the world do?
if they do in Darfur what they did in Ruwanda
the result will be
A BIG FAT ZERO.
In that little conflict, over 800,000 died.
I am convinced, as long as it happens to blacks, the world
looks the other way.

It is sickening given the amount of $$$$$$$ that is spent
on the UN for nothing more than lip service.....
There are so many examples.....all sickening
When my father was alive, he spoke often of how
cheap it would be to prevent disease in third world countries.
He was in preventive medicine and gave example after example of what he meant by cheap.
It is just now that they are doing just a minute amoung of what he spoke of years ago........
Prevention is the key.
And finally, this situation in Dafur is no different than ages ago when Arabs were hauling blacks to the west coast of Africa to sell them into slavery.......
So much for the compassion of Islam.....

Anyone who's read even a little of the Koran knows that Islam is basically a militaristic form of Christianity. Though I would be hard pressed to decide which one I despise more. XD
