Nice day. I make jokes about Husband's family being boring, but really....when you consider all the people with Jerry Springer like in law situations, boring is a good thing. In fact, as we sat down to dinner I said that was something I was thankful for.
I spent some time doing arts and crafts with the nieces and nephew. Who are just too adorable. He's 7, the girls are 3 and 4. I was cutting out felt shapes to go on their santa projects. I also colored and made one of those button on a string spinny things. I forgot how much fun coloring was. The kids really like me, which is just...weird. But fun. Jacob thinks I'm HILARIOUS. He also LOVED my apple crisp. Maybe sometime when I visit with him, we can make a batch of it together.
Oh God. I just turned into my gramma.
But my in-laws' house is always HOT. So it's nice to be home in my chilly and drafty place.
Cleaning lady tomorrow! Woo hoo! I'm off work, so I will make myself scarce in the afternoon, but NOT by going to my local maul. I do have a dance lesson at 4 (Steve will go if he can get outta work by then) girly lunch with my friend on saturday. Not much else planned, other than more painting and stuff.
