Karl cancelled
Unfortunately Karl Urban cancelled Ring*Con 2007 due to work comittments. We are very sorry about this, but this is the nature of the movie business. We had a wonderful replacement last night - but only for 2 hours. We locked in Brad Dourif (Grima Wormtongue) but 2 hours later the agent informed us, that he has to start work on a new movie on October 11, 2007!!! We are working round the clock and hope to present a replacement for you soon.
So in other words, we got nobody new. Great. Some extras we have seen a hundreds of times? And they try to bring Brad Dourif? The biggest asshole of all of them? Well I'd LOVE that :-/
I know it's not the organizers fault but I'm pissed now and I'm off to bed!
Oh and I'm happy that I send them a mail that I want to stay another night in the hotel just a few days ago. Now I wish I hadn't done that :-/
eta:Okay, they got Andy Serkis. But sounds like he'll be only there on Saturday.
I know a lot of my friends LOVE Karl and are really sad he won't make it to Ring*Con. I'm sad too but not as much as I was before because I LOVE Andy. He is such a lovely and funny guy. I look forward to see him again!
