Secretly in Love with a Book and my Left Armpit
For the first time in as long as I can remember I went to bed before 2am last night since all remaining MOCCA-ites were gone and long-delayed secret apartment dancing took place. It was enough secret apartment dancing to make me actually sleepy, and sweeeet nips* if I didn't wind up actually remembering my dreams for the first time in like forever.
Now I won't go into major detail, but I can tell you a few things:
1. It involved me making out with the pages of a book...no, not some magical character that jumped off the pages, but the ink covered page itself
2. The book did not kiss back, because that would be weird.
3. While I was making out with the book I was repeatedly applying "Fresh Rain" deodorant to my left pit
4. I did not stop applying the deodorant for the rest of the entire dream during which I was: crime fighting, sweeping up a bag of rice I dropped in my kitchen, flying on a plane to philadelphia, and saving approximately 30 talking dogs from joining an evil villain organization...all the while sweeping sweet smells under the arm with a back and forth motion
Is my subconcsious trying to tell me I smell? I never really figured out what book I was so in love with (quite literally) in the dream.
I don't even know why I feel the need to tell all of you since I'm SURE you've all had this dream before....um...right?
EXCITEMENT!:

2. So I've been screenprinting like a crazy mofo. I just finished a batch of 65 shirts in two different designs for Chris over at Repro, which you can buy over here:
Those pictures don't do justice to the actual awesomness of the shirts though they make me laugh as the prove how chilly my backyard was that day...something I'm sure Chris doesn't appreciate me pointing out.
I promised a few folks at MOCCA that I would make another batch of Madeline Kahn FLAMES ON THE SIDE OF HER FACE shirts, this time using only one Kahn per shirt rather than the crazy ones I made last batch. Let me know if any of you guys want me to print you up one! Tell me your size and I'll tell you the color options. I even have two more red musclely tanks if anyone wants to request one.
Four color hosebeasts are next! (With "Octo-PANTS" soon to follow...)
I'm still having trouble figuring out how many to print of each design. I think I'm doing too many one-offs that aren't in sizes people want. If I was a smart business-lady I would start to do runs of like 15-30 of each design on the exact same color shirts, the exact same way, but, really, what fun is that?
I just want to play!
And make out with books apparently.
