Right now, in the backseat of my car, I have: a dirty grill grate, a poster advertising Cristin's Harvard reading that has my name on it in bold, and a headless Gap mannequin.

(Bonus: my students have named her Susan. I misspelled "name" as "nake", and my phone knew I meant "name" and not "naked".)

I am incredibly buoyant.

Literally.

Metaphorically, well, that's a different story.

I know at least three people who have pets named Taco.

That dream I had where someone gave me a kitten set.  (Think, like, a pillbox, only kitten-sized and filled with kittens.)  I knew I couldn't keep them, and I didn't know what to do with them, and I was soooo anxious the whole time, I couldn't even enjoy their adorableness.
