My mood has been rising and crashing for months now. I hope I can get used to this. I was so stable before.
I hate to say this, but if I ever get more fish (after the ones I currently have) I'm definitely going for something simple and hardy, like maybe danios. Or a weather loach. Those are adorable. For sure cutting down to one tank, though. I worry about my pets way too much.
Hum, not much time at all for drawing lately. It sucks having a job, and there's always tasks that need tending to.
Oh, I bought a pocket watch. It's gorgeous. The brand maker seems to be labeled 'Muret Geneve'. It doesn't work and it has a big crack in the glass, but I polished it up and boy does it look fine. I hate time anyway, why would I want a watch that actually WORKS?
Anyway, it's silver with copper accents and some nice floral engraving on the metal dial.
.... I want another in the worst way. I already scoured Etsy and faved all the reasonably priced ones. >..>
ALSO. Due to popular demand (a whole 50% of my readers requested this. That's, -cough-, one person) I'm going to post some pictures of my favorite types of Koi.
First up, Chagoi.
Chagoi are brown koi. It sounds boring, but actually, I find these fish quite beautiful; especially the Gin Rin (shiny) Chagoi. It is said that chagoi are exceptionally calm and can relax the temperament of the other fish in the pond, however, they eat like pigs.

Next, Purachina. Or Platinum Ogon. Or Gin Rin Platinum. I'm not sure how to distinguish these finer types, but one thing is certain- they're all very white, and pretty, and sometimes shiny. The first one is also a butterfly ginrin.

Now, Asagi. Some people look down on Asagi Koi because they're a very old breed. I think those people are elitist airbags. The first two images are of GinRin Asagi. The middle one is the typical, albeit a very good specimen, and the last is a rare (but gorgeous) mutation.

Hi Utsuri. Classic type of Koi, in my opinion. They make pretty GinRins. The second image from the left is a GinRin Hi Utsuri. The last image was labeled "Hirenaga GinRin Hi Utsuri".

Shusui are rather cool. I think these are also an old breed, possibly? Fact check. Anyway. That last one is a Hi Shusui, meaning he's heavy on the red.
