Just an update.
Everything's going along nicely, I suppose. Next semester's tutorial is going to be exciting - early jawed fish, placoderms more specifically, from an evolutionary standpoint. Like the apex predator (debatable?) of its time, the Dunkleosteus. WOO HOO. I'll use any excuse I can get to head to the Chicago museum, and that's my homework for the summer.
Uh, Not much else to report. I've recently become rather taken with fancy goldfish and Koi, and I've occupied myself with learning the different types and terms. My favorite kind of goldfish at the moment is the Ranchu/Lionchu. Just google it. They're adorable. The Koi is a rather new interest so I haven't picked favorites, although I'm partial to Asagi, Kujaku, Kikokuryu... Gin Rin Kanoko Asagi... Gin Rin Chagoi... As I said, I don't really have a favorite. :l But anyway, they're all gorgeous, and it's interesting how domestication produces such color variation and how it parallels that seen in dogs and some reptiles ( ex, corn snake).
Well.
Now that I've bored you all into rigor mortis, I'm going to go sketch.
... I wanna go to the reptile shoooooowwwww.
