It is 4:15 when the alarm goes off. I've been dozing for an hour, but the sound of the alarm nudges my brain into a higher gear. Accordingly, my body temperature feels like it skyrockets. My nose also starts to run.

Yep, I'm up.

Since I finished Limbo this afternoon, we've started playing Dead Space (several years after everyone else, yes, I know).  So far, it seems like a newer version of Run Like Hell played in the Halo environment - though it's unlike RLH in that I lost my bet that everyone but the PC would be dead in half an hour.  It also isn't using Breaking Benjamin ( Read more... )

So I decided the best way to spend the days off between finals and field camp was to play Silent Hill: Shattered Memories.  Relax, unwind, kill things. I spent two days on this, and I beat the game twice.

So... apparently I hadn't killed enough things to get the Sexy Beam. So I have the ridiculous costume, but no lasers coming from my eyes.  I needed to kill 75 more monsters to get the weapon.  Which means I need to beat the game AGAIN before I can try for the weird ending ( Read more... )

...For when you found that the Alone In the Dark endings were excessively long and overly well-explained.  Or, I don't know, satisfying.  Grrrr.

My first reaction: 6 hrs 41 mins for THAT?! I hope the weird ending is better, since I'll be able to get that one now that I've killed an awful lot of creatures.
