I'm baking today (and will be baking tomorrow, too) for a party. I'm making chocolate-glazed mint chocolate brownies for the first time. They're not quite finished yet, but all the steps have gone well and have tasted and smelled super-yummy. Tomorrow I'll be baking pumpkin chocolate chip muffins upon request. Cory and I went to the Dallas Museum of Art today to check out Take Your Time, an exhibit of work by Olafur Eliasson. It was awesome. This mist waterfall is one installation, called "Beauty," that we visited more than once. Cory really liked that one.

A cup of hot chocolate on a cold day always makes me happy. I already had one, but I might have to splurge and get another one to help me make it home. Temperatures have dropped into the 40s here and I was not prepared (even though I checked weather.com before I left home), so I am at school without a jacket or a scarf and about to have to walk ( Read more... )
