(no subject)
Finally got our new oven, I am really exicted to be able to cook rather than eat frozen dinners or soup. But we also have a houseguest, John's mom is staying with us for a few days and she has a cold and is leaving used tissues all over the place, which is killing my appetite and I am also avoiding the house as much as possible currently. It wouldn't be so bad except John is a work and I really have nothing to say to her, so I don't want to hang around.
I worked Tuesday at the Panera in Lacey and Sat I go into the new store for a class and I guess to meet everyone else who will be at that store. I have met several, but I only worked morning shifts. I hope it is better than the other one was, the people were so bitchy, but the managers did start cutting their hours right before Christmas because us trainees were there and they had too many people, so I get that, but I did always offer to be cut before someone who worked at the store. A coffee stand is town had a sign saying they are accepting applications, so I applied there. Probably be less hours, but it would save the same amount in gas and I would get tips.
Still love going to the food bank, though it has been slow. Visited with my CASA case twice, last night the biological parents were there and they pretty much ignored my existence, but that is ok. The little girl is really dramatic, but what 6 year old isn't?
