pink_pet  is on his way to his parents' place in Florida. He is moving his mom into an assisted living facility down there until he and his sibs can find a place in VA. He's not sure when he'll be able to get internet again, so I thought I'd post an update for y'all.

Where have I been?

Nine months ago, I went to rehab.
Four months ago my parents separated.

I've been so wrapped up in my own shit that I've completely withdrawn from my friends. I've been spending so much time and energy focusing on my own emotional and mental health that I simply haven't had anything left to care about my friends' lives.

Is the wedding over yet? The three of us are completely stressed out and overwhelmed. I was talking to my dad the other night, and he said, "Well, yeah, your wedding is an awful day! I mean, 30 years later you can laugh about it, but I'd never do it again!" Gee, thanks, Dad. Fuck, I'm not even the one getting married!
