Saturday: An Afternoon Date

OKCupid produced another date for me and her name is Samantha. In short, 30 lives in San Francisco and in the Mission. Works for Macy's managing and designing inventory systems for Macy's products.

She set the date at Philz on 24th at Folsom. A coffee shop that's a locally owned chain. Since I was going to the city for Dark Cabaret, I drove to North Berkeley and took the BART to the coffee shop. That way I'd BART back to my car and go into SF when parking is possible and free.

The date itself went rather well, but I reminded myself about how good I am about making my job and life sound more interesting than it is. The bonus is that now my job is interesting, which makes me sound even more awesome. What makes this interesting is that her work is similar to my job at Emerson as far as making tools for asset management. We also talked about reality TV, comics, and other things.

She's interesting in her own right and easy on the eyes, so there's differently another date as far as I'm concerned. Don't know how much of a keeper she'll be at this point, but there isn't a reason for me not to call her again. Keep you all posted.

dating, philz
