“So,” Wanda Maximoff said, the wind swirling her skirts. “You’re the new Vision.”
“[Yes ma’am.]” the Vision replied, turning his expressionless gaze from the city skyline to her.
“I didn’t see you earlier.” She said.
“[I assisted Wiccan and Speed in discovering your location.]” he replied. “[I was elsewhere when you arrived.]”
The two stood in silence.
“Do you hate me for causing his death?” she asked finally.
“[No.]”
“Then why so cold?”
The Vision wrapped his arms around his torso and looked back out at the skyline.
“[Because two floors below and several rooms to the south-east of us, Cassie Lang is crying like her heart is broken. And while I do not hate you, I cannot forgive you for causing her that pain.]”
