Either you really mean it, or you don't say it.

Don't read this if you're only planning on making some (supposedly) smart-ass nonsensical reply to what I've said.

Yes, I've pretty much had enough of stupid little teenagers who go around proclaiming their 'love' for their partners. I know what you're thinking, in your stupid little preppy mind, 'she doesn't know what love is! She's just jealous of those who can love!'

But let me clear out one thing today.

AT FIFTEEN YEARS OF AGE, NO ONE HAS THE EMOTIONAL MATURITY REQUIRED TO 'LOVE' ANOTHER.

And that's a fucking fact. You may have love for your family or your pet; but that is unconditional love. We are all born with it. The act of truly loving another person? You can't do that at fifteen. Jeez.

What's even worse? These people have no respect for love. If asked how they can say 'I love you' to another person; I was given the very smart answer 'OFCOURSE we don't mean love love'.

Even if at this point we don't take into account what's written in bold CAPSLOCKFURY right up there, that answer pissed me off even more. Doesn't that just SHOW the amount of respect one has for love? Don't get me wrong here, but being in love is a great feeling (I think). I mean real love. Not what you call love but is actually infatuation.  People just throw the word 'love' around like it doesn't have any meaning. Take this for an example.

(A typical blond girl from my old school)
Day one of relationship: Ohmygod, he's like, so amazing! I love him! He's my (insert stupid nickname here)! My life! I can't live without you, baby!
Day seven: I can't believe he broke up with me! He broke my heart! I don't believe in love anymore! *carves first initial of heart-breaker's name into forearm*
Day ten: You know, that (name)? I think I love him. He's so nice to me all the time. And he's smoking hot!

No, I am not exaggerating here.

See the unconsiderate use of the word love? Wouldn't that drive you mad? HOLY CRAP BITCHES, it's not fucking love!

Those three words, they're said to much. But never meant enough. That's why my philosophy :

Either you really mean it, or you don't say it.

Because saying 'I love you' but not meaning true love is not the same damn thing.

i'm feeling bitchy: rants
